The NWA North American Tag Team Championship will be defended for the very first time in NWA NY on December 3rd. X-Mas Chaos will provide a backdrop to the next title defense for the current NWA North American Tag Team Champions, Team MEGA. Team MEGA consist of Ashton Amherst & James Ross who have held the titles since May of 2010. They will be defending against the Rochester Wrecking Crew (Rob 2 Sweet and Hellcat) at the Eagles Club in Rochester NY.

This nationally recognized championship, in this incarnation, has been recognized by the NWA since 1998. Like the NWA World Tag Team Championship, this title is defended worldwide and has been held by many elite wrestlers. Will Rob 2 Sweet and Hellcat be able to bring home the gold or will Team MEGA have another successful title defense? You will have to come to X-Mas Chaos to find out!

NWA New York is proud to announce that it will be expanding its presence in the United States in 2012. We received word today that in addition to a full 2012 schedule in New York, dates are to be scheduled in Ohio. More information about these events will be available shortly. As will dates, times, venues and other information. We look forward to coming to the Heart of it All!

NWA New York will be moving to a new venue come December 3rd. As announced at Monster’s Ball 2011, NWA New York will be holding their next event at the Eagles Club on Buffalo Rd. in Rochester, NY on December 3rd at 6pm. Tickets will be available soon.

Who will win: Cheech

How: Pinfall

Thoughts: Pepper Parks is a former NWA National Champion, NWA Empire and NWA NY Heavyweight Champion. His American Strong style with slams and his focus on the Neckbreaker maneuver is his strong suit. Pepper’s body is prepared for this battle and any other battle on any day. Usually, Pepper could out power a guy normally, but in this case his power won’t be that large of a factor. What will be the determining factor in this match in particular is the fact that Cheech is on fire. Pepper might of taken out one of the bigger names in NWA New York for his shot, but he’s without help this time. I feel that Cheech can get the victory in this one.

NWA NEW YORK TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

THE MCCLOUD BROTHERS(Evan & Kyle)(c) VS THE YOUNG AND THE WRESTLERS

Who will win: The Young and The Wrestlers

How: Pinfall

Thoughts: The McClouds have finally captured and reclaimed the NWA New York Tag Team titles after a lengthy and undeniably epic run. With all of this effort put towards the chase of the belts, one would consider the transition between defending and chasing to be a jarring one. Used to being the underdogs, this match should be handled by Kyle and Evan with little trouble. They’d come out guns blazing and roll right over Y&W. However, the chasing I feel has tired their spirit. My advice to them would be to not rest on their laurels and take “Superbad” Richard Venice and “Icebox” Nick Ando seriously. They might of lost last time, but somehow they’ve acquired a #1 Contendership slot. A comical twist of fate if you ask me, and something that might indicate larger things. Wouldn’t it be the killing joke if the rain of the boys from Dublin ended the same way as it did last time?

Who will win: Ice and Dewey Delight

How: Pinfall

Thoughts: This is an interesting situation. Ice and Dewey have debuted their new found alliance at the last show helping each other out with a victory over the “Wrecking Crew.” Now I’ve heard of this tag team experimenting in places that aren’t NWA New York and while they’ve been successful elsewhere I’d like to see Rob and Hellcat really pull it together here. “The Boss” and Sweet have their work cut out for them. Dewey and Ice are on top of their games respectively. However I don’t think this will end here and now. Look out tag team division. Both teams have equal potential to run off and be real contenders there. As for this match, which ever team will gel better will get the victory here. Ice and Dewey seem to be that team.

CLOUDY VS. “THE EXTREMELY CUTE WRESTLER” COLIN DELANEY

Who will win: Cloudy

How: Pinfall

Thoughts: Cloudy is a veteran tag team specialist. These two have met in the past as 1/2s of their respective tag teams but I don’t remember a point where either man have faced each other. Cloudy’s rolling off a win in a 4 man match last time while Colin is pulling the rug out from underneath the Heavyweight division. The size differential in my opinion isn’t that large of a difference in this case. As both men aren’t giant powerhouses, I’m sure they will still be able to use most of their arsenal. What I think will happen is that Colin will get cocky and Cloudy will cheat, maybe a handful of tights? It’ll be a good match anyway you cut it and I think this is a sleeper candidate for MOTN.

GABREAL SAINT VS. “MEAN” MARCOS w/Nikki Jett

Who will win: Gabreal Saint

How: Pinfall

Thoughts: Gabe needs this win. Given his 2011, in which he’s unsuccessfully tried to rise to the top of the Heavyweight division, there is a time when someone is due for a change in momentum. Marcos is on a roll as of late, defeating the “Maverick” Matt Milan in an amazing match which showed that he could perhaps pursue the Heavyweight title himself. In the end though, the “Bull of Black Mountain” will take this victory with vicious strikes and hitting Marcos with “The Reckoning.”

Final Thoughts: Ian Decay is also making his debut and from what I understand there will be other surprises as well. Make sure you get your tickets to this show fast! I hope to see you there and if not, you can purchase the iPPV for $12 from our shop. Things will get spooky when the NWA New York’s Monster’s Ball kicks off. See you there!
